Established in the year 2011 under the ambit of the School of Social Sciences, the Centre for Economic Studies has been actively engaged in teaching and research activities. The Centre has been playing a unique role in the universe where the ethos of sciences, technology and management prevails. The Centre was established with a mission to enable young aspirants to understand and analyze the theoretical as well as empirical issues in various branches of Economics. The Centre specifically lays focus on various aspects of socio-economic development at regional, national and global levels to bring students face to face with real-life situations, and represent them as a future of dynamic world. Committed to innovative and quality-based research and teaching, the centre is in the process of expansion with more teaching and research programmes. The key assignment of the Centre is to offer educational opportunities to students in order to prepare them to become accomplished citizens, and professionals capable of critical thinking and independent analysis.
